When I tell u that this book is the BOMB, I aint lying! Trista, this is an excellent piece of work and I cant wait to read anything that spins from your mind. I loved the endings(s)...very creative! I also loved the way u compared handsome Rev Flack to other well known pastors...making humorous comments about each of them in your own way! Bishop Long is my pastor and it was nice seeing his name in your book! Take care and be blessed Trista! You are indeed an excellent Author!

I used to think Zane was the best African American female author around until I read the book by Trista Russell "Fly On A Wall" & after that one my opinion totally changed!!! Zane is still good but, you took her number one spot on my list. Your books are the BOMB!! I just finished reading your book "Chocolate Covered Forbidden Fruit" & that book was just awesome. You truly have a dedicated fan in me.........I'm in the process of getting your last book I haven't read called "Going For Broke" & I will be reading that soon & I'm sure that will be just as wonderful as the rest!!! Keep up the good work & I pray to God I be blessed with the chance to meet you one day..........Karen

Dear Trista, I am compelled to share this with you. First of all, I want to know if you have been a fly on the wall in my life? The novel is an almost exact mirror of my life for the last four years. I thought I would just read of couple of pages before I get ready for my birthday tomorrow, but ended up reading cover to cover. I have lived this book. My mother died and the whole nine yards. Involved with my pastor. Girl, let me find out that someone had been sharing secrets! I am truly impressed with your work. Your book inspired my spirit, it made me cry, it warmed my heart, it delighted me, it caused me to call the pastor. I haven't been this delighted with a book in quite some time. Be blessed and encouraged in your walk, J Dub

I am anxiously awaiting the sequel to chocolate covered 4bidden fruit. Some parts of the book had me laughing so loud! I needed to read this today, I was feeling depressed about my mother's death just like in the book! I love Isaac and Thalia as a couple.
Fly on the wall, was good, but not as good as this! Girl, you know how to reach your christian readers, saved or unsaved, this book will cause a rededication to Christ!

If you ever decide to make a movie about this book, which you really should consider it, I have the cast. The story was terrific and I cried and laughed, I really didn't want it to end. I really wanted that brother-in-law to get his, he got off too easy

Dear, Trista
My name is Meta and I from Detroit. I just recently read your book Chocolate Covered Forbidden Fruit and I really loved it. It made me laugh and even cry. I also think it drew me closer to the Lord. The part when Thalia called her mother and told her that she had a new stretch mark and her mother told her that her body was God's and one day those stretch marks gon com together and spell thanks. That made me feel so much more confident in myself because my stretch marks always made me feel insecure. So I just wanted to thank you for writing that in your book. I now have new found confidence in myself thanks to you. You are a really good writer. Thank you.

Hi Trista I just finished reading "Chocolate Forbidden Fruit". I never put the book down the entire time i was reading it. I never really was a reading person until i came across this book. I really love how you described Issac. He seem to be the kind of man that every woman wants. this book taught me alot. It even showed me what to look for in a man. Thalia and Issac make a wonderful couple and I really hope that you will consider to make a part two. I would love to see what the next part of their lives will be like together. Keep on using your talent God is giving you. Plus keep in my on making another part to the book - God bless

Trista, I really loved the book Chocolate Covered Forbidden. I felt that pain that Thalia went through and the happiness when she found her true love. I hope that you write a sequel so we know what happens to her and Isaacc.
God Bless You

Ms. T. Russell,
I was compelled to write you something after reading "Chocolate Covered Forbidden Fruit". For all those who will judge whether this is a christian like book, let me set the record straight. NO ONE IS WITHOUT SIN!!!!!! I say this because you wrote a story that was very real and could and have happened to many, many people. Myself included. We have all been throughThalia's journey, just our own. For every saved woman out there(truely) saved, then you know you have to go through trials in life to know you need saving from yourself. God is always working on us all and we are never with out sin and will never be as long as we walk in Earthly flesh. Ms. Russell your book was truley an inspiration for many people I am sure. It was a great book that surely evoked many feelings of anyone reading it. I thank God for the gift he has not only given you but the gift of sharing it to spread His word and allow others who may think that because they live the way the characters in your book do that they are beyond finding God.... You may have even helped some people find God in just reading your book. We will never know exactly how or who was affected, but Thank God for you and those souls that are moving closer to God...... God Bless you sista.... P.S. I am in agreement with many of your readers PLEASE MAKE A SEQUEL!!!!!! Since we asked beofre and you did hopefully this will work as well.....
